June 2026

The SovereignPromise.

On 13th June, the US government ordered Anthropic to shut off Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for foreign nationals. Overnight, researchers and students across India lost access to the most capable AI models available, not because something broke, but because a foreign government decided they shouldn't have it.

This will keep happening. Export controls on chips have been tightening for years. Now they are coming for the software and frontier model access.

At dcompute, we are building so India does not have to depend on infrastructure that can disappear overnight.

India has no shortage of talent. Our engineers lead AI teams at the very companies who build these models. What we lack is compute. You cannot teach someone how LLMs are trained, how RLHF works, or how to run distributed jobs by showing slides. Students need to sit at a cluster, launch a training run, watch it fail, fix it, and try again. That loop is where real understanding is built. dcompute exists to make that possible: affordable H100, A100, etc. access for Indian students and researchers, with zero dependency on a foreign API that can disappear overnight. Every student who wants to understand AI should be able to train a model, not just prompt one.

Whether you are a researcher, a startup founder, a professor, or a student who wants real compute for training and experimentation, we want to hear from you. Universities, research labs, independent builders: the door is open to anyone serious about working on the frontier.

Fill out the form below and a founder will get back to you within 24 hours.

Anyone building with compute is welcome — researchers, founders, faculty, students. We reply within 24 hours.
